 Instructions to Reset Cavan® Touchscreen Webpage.

• SSH to Raspberry Pi web server

  • Open the Start Menu .
    
    
  • Type CMD
    
    
  • Press Enter

This opens the Command Prompt - from here we can use SSH to connect to the Raspberry Pi web server.

• Type ssh alpha@192.168.1.75

•  Type RootRoot
  • Press Enter 
    

This opens the Linux terminal of the Raspberry Pi - from here we can access the web page we want to edit.

• Type cd /var/www/html

• Type ls

The ls command lists files inside  /var/www/html

• Type sudo nano Index.html




This opens the Linux text editor of the Raspberry Pi - from here we can access the web page HTML code

Once you have found the website you would like to use
After you have located the website you want to use


• Right-click on the share button located at the top right corner.



• Right-click on to embed

• Right-click on to copy under the smart embed link 
  
  
  
  
• Return to your Linux text editor and update the old code with the new code

To do this, navigate to the code using the arrow keys, delete the old code with the backspace key, and then paste the new code in its place.

• To save Ctrl+X
• To Exit Ctrl+X
  
• Close the Command Prompt by clicking the X button in the top-right corner of the window.

• To verify the changes, refresh your browser at http://192.168.1.75
